Storage Area Network Project Manager is responsible for maintaining the storage infrastructure in and optimal state (micro code, maintenance, etc.) integrating support tools for easy monitoring and preventive actions. The manager must provide disks via SNA, NAS, CAS, etc. to the different platforms and assure they have redundancy and load balancing for optimal performance. Manager must participate in new project meeting and propose storage infrastructure designs to provide storage based on the project requirements. Manager must generate replication procedures for DRP and operating systems.
Design, develop and implement new hardware, software and technology solutions.
Participate in the storage provisioning and monitoring storage use, assuring that the business requirements are met to exceed the established SLAs.
Configure the hardware and software, including all system components and inter connectivity for the storage architecture.
Guarantee the compliance with the internal and external policies including the management of operations risk and ethical compliance.
Share knowledge, guidance and recommendations with the team members with less experience.

Bachelors degree or equivalent work.
Fluent in Spanish & English
7-10 years of experience with High-end platforms over VMware ESXi 6.X
Experience with SRM and VMware 6.X
7-10 years of Citrix experience
Extensive customer service and client interaction skills
Ability to think and act independently to resolve production issues.
Ability to administer enterprise level SAN Networks
Must display a history of achieving goals in a high performance environment.
Excellent communication skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals and organizations.
Prefer ITIL or Lean certified
Knowledge of Hitachi storage (useful)
Knowledge of IBM storage (required)
Knowledge of EMC (useful)
Knowledge of SAN Brocade and MDS Cisco.
Advanced knowledge of IBM storage virtualization
Knowledge of EMC storage virtualization
Knowledge of OS (AIX, Windows, VMware, Vmware SRM, Linux and Solaris)
Advanced knowledge of (Symantec VVM for Solaris, LVM AIX, LVM Linux y LVM ESX)
Advanced knowledge of storage replication including scripting for replication via host.
