To achieve this goal, we are making efforts to create universally accessible products available to any and all learners, including individuals with disabilities.
To assist with this effort, we are in search of an Accessibility Analyst to join our growing Accessibility support team.
The responsibilities of this role would include:
Contribute to the Accessibility execution process making recommendations on best practices for the development of accessible software (40%)
Use assistive technologies to assess the conformance of our digital products to industry required guidelines (35%)
Contribute to training and governance programs for technology, product and design teams (10%)
Work with Accessibility leadership to manage enterprise Accessibility programs and manage a council of senior stakeholders (10%)
Assist in the definition of an executable and repeatable process to implement Accessibility requirements (10%)
Key skills and capabilities include:
Thorough knowledge of Accessibility guidelines -- ADA, W3C WCAG 2.0 and Section 508
Experience applying WCAG 2.0 standards to development of standards-compliant, accessible products
3+ years assessing products and using assistive technology hardware/software, including screen readers, screen magnifiers, Dragon Naturally Speaking etc
