DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Understand and perform all functions required to set up and operate a variety of CNC and /or manual machining equipment including but not limited to: 4 axis vertical lathes, horizontal lathes, horizontal boring machines, gear hobber, gear grinder, cylindrical grinder, radial arm drill and coordinate measuring machines

-Use standard machine tools including, but not limited to drill press, band saw, lathe, press breaks, welding equipment etc., and a variety of hand, electric, and pneumatic tools

-Change and adjust tools as required to maintain quality

-Set up both fixtures and parts for machining

-De-burr parts

-Use manual and electronic inspection devices to check multiple quality parameters

-Set up and perform simple welding operations

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

-High school Diploma or GED

-5+ years of CNC lathe experience machining long parts.

-Must have current experience with 2 axis Mazak Power Master with Mazatrol control or okuma controls

-Must be able to make your own programs on the Mazatrol control.

-Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating procedures

-Maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

-Must have working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD & T).

-Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry.

Working hours: 6:00am-3:30pm; 3:00pm-12:30am

There are 2 current openings - (1) on 1st Shift 6am-3:30pm and (1) on 2nd Shift 3pm-12:30am. Starting pay is from $22-$28.25/hr based on experience. Must be willing to submit to a background check and/or drug screen.
