Digital Graphics Designer/ Digital User Interface Designer - Asset Creator - Tactical/Production position.

Responsibilities:

  • Getting all exports and leveraging the work from the designer from a visual problem solving

  • Produces digital media files that serve as production-ready LCD artwork or other content.

  • Apply branded style guides to each user interface wireframe in selected software development toolkit (Sketch) by combining deliverables from UX & GUI designers.

  • Extended those existing style guides to cover digital graphic implementations. Extend existing digital visual templates to cover minor variations when needed.

  • Produce and convert digital assets into the correct formats (bit depth, resolution, frame rate, etc) for all screen/OS variants across product categories and brands.

  • Editing photos to match different situations and contexts using Adobe Photoshop and Bridge.

  • Batch process digital content elements like photos.

  • Maintain a database library of digital assets.

  • Collaborate with software engineers to fix visual quality issues.

Deliverables:

  1. Sketch files accurately representing each digital screen for each project/region/OS variant.

  2. Individual digital asset and content files organized into databases and folders for developers.

  3. Bug reports tracking UI and visual issues that are non-obvious to non-designers.

Education:

  • Associates Degree in Graphic Design with a very strong portfolio of projects completed.
