DescriptionThis opening is for an Administrative Assistant at Johns Hopkins University
-Understand and handle general business practices in a Professional Services office.
-Maintain filing systems to ensure proper and timely handling of correspondence, documents, materials, and records.
-Develop understanding of and work with business contracts, to include American Institute of Architects contracts.
-Utilize excellent business writing skills.
-Interface with accounting department regarding project billing and expense reporting.
-Assist technical staff with proposals and update/maintain marketing materials.
-Perform other duties and functions as may be assigned by supervisor or manager.
Working hours: 8:30am - 5pm
-Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in a professional environment
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated expertise in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
-Good organizational skills.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-Ability to interact with clients on behalf of the firm.
-Attention to detail, including proofreading.
-Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize multiple projects, and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
-Must be quality minded and self-motivated.
