Position Overview

We are looking for a talented Telecom Network Engineer to join their growing company. Based in our Bala Cynwyd offices this role will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support of critical enterprise network systems. In addition, they will also be responsible for the configuration, security, resource monitoring, and troubleshooting of high availability telecommunications systems.

Key Responsibilities:

? Hands on configuration, management and troubleshooting skills for IVR s for a SIP based Cloud Call Center

? Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Polycom hosted phones

? Perform network planning, design, documentation, configuration, and implementation of complex network solutions including cloud based HPBX, SIP service

? Perform reporting on various aspects of Call Center performance

? Assist in determining network hardware, bandwidth, and SIP trunk needs

? Perform product evaluations of new network software and hardware solutions

? Research new technologies, and determine applicability and make purchasing recommendations.

? Configure, maintain, and install CTI adapters on desktops and servers

? Serve as a consultant to various internal groups/projects as new services are developed

? Evaluate network performance to ensure maximum uptime with a minimum of latency


? Degree in Information Technology or equivalent training, education, or experience

? 2 - 5 years of experience working in fast paced call center environment, or equivalent experience

? Must have CTI and SIP experience in either design or configuration

? Cisco certifications are preferred, CCNP is highly desired

? Experience configuring Cisco switches required

? Five9 IVR experience preferred

? Excellent working knowledge of outbound dialers

? Working knowledge of protocol analyzers.

? Experienced at standards based change management and outage resolution processes

? ITIL highly desired

? In depth knowledge of network monitoring solution and resource forecasting tools

? Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, and verbal/written communication skills

? Must be able to clearly present technical solutions to a non-technical aud
