Randstad Director, Internal Communications in Atlanta, Georgia


Lead and oversee Randstad’s internal communications function within the U.S., including its Operating Companies. In this role, the successful candidate will not only be an expert in crafting messaging based on various vehicles and audiences, but also approaches the role with a digital first mindset. This individual will be responsible for ensuring content relevancy by channel and audience across our owned platforms,

as well as working closely with the various Operating Companies on how to package materials/campaigns for optimal internal buy in. He/she will partner with Executives and leaders across the organization to bring internal concepts to life in the most innovative and digestible ways for maximum understanding and adoption.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ability to see the connection between strategy and tactics, and make that connection for others through various communications vehicles

  • Partner with key corporate functions (Human Resources, Information Technology, etc.) to develop and manage internal communication campaigns; plan and execute longer-term communication projects.

  • Strong understanding of new media

  • Develop and work closely with Marketing and Operations on the development of training materials to increase adoption of marketing materials for sales enablement

  • Direct oversight of all internal platforms (Intranets, Google+ pages, emails, newsletters, etc.) to ensure message alignment and consistency across all platforms

  • Oversees small and large scale internal events, providing guidance and coordination in conjunction with other departments (i.e. all-company meetings)

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects with a sense of urgency and to navigate within a complex organization

  • Works closely with the Talent Marketing Team to execute various initiatives across the organization to create and execute engagement strategies

  • Creates engaging presentations, talking points, and other materials to support senior leaders and others in telling our talent story

  • Develop regular reporting cadence to marketing team, as well as senior company leadership, which enables a strong understanding of internal engagement

  • Continually seek to innovative and introduce breakthrough ideas, approaches and solutions with communications

  • Up to 15% travel may be required


  • Bachelor’s degree


  • Exceptional writer, editor and communicator

  • Experienced with using a wide range of multi-media and web based-vehicles used for communications and change management

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Adaptability and resilience: able to adjust to changes/priorities and remain productive under pressure

  • Strong digital experience to successfully engage employee audiences across a large, complex organization

  • Must keep up on trends and developments in the field

  • Must have strong oral and presentation skills when interacting with top executives

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex projects

  • Must be detailed oriented with a concern for quality expressed by continually initiating system and process improvements

  • Strong management skills based on several years of experience, including people development and team building
