DescriptionWe are currently seeking to hire a Direct Hire Maintenance Technician for a stable and growing production company.

This is a 1st shift position that runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday (7AM - 7:30PM)

Pay Rate: $20.51, $21.66 at 6 months, and $22.80 after one year (this is a union environment)

Main duties will revolve around repairs, Installations and the maintenance of electrical systems. Duties will include but not be limited to the following:

- Maintains facilities, production equipment and production support systems.

-Familiar with National Electric Codes and codebook.

-Troubleshooting electrical control circuits

-Prepares requisitions for materials/parts required to complete work orders.

-Creates work orders, closes them when complete, and accounts for time spent on tasks in our computerized Maintenance Management System.

Working hours: 1ST SHIFT - Friday, Saturday and Sunday



-PLC experience a plus.

-Must be forklift certified or obtain the qualification within the probationary period.

-Valid New York State Driver's License.

-Minimum of 3 years' experience in an industrial electrician position

-NYS approved electrician apprenticeship or 2-year degree in industrial electricity (military schooling is acceptable) or a verifiable trade school.
